“Out with Parents” on Stratumseind, Eindhoven

19-04-2013 - 19-04-2013

The event is to inform parents of teenagers who are, or will be going out in Eindhoven by giving them insight into the experiences their teenager might encounter while going out on ‘Stratumseind’. The hope is, by the end of the evening to have armed you with information which will enable you to have informed discussions with your child about going out. We feel this evening is especially important for our international parents who may be less aware of Dutch laws, the risks involved and the availability of drugs in The Netherlands.
Parents will be welcomed by the CityCouncillor, there will be a short introduction and you will then visit Stratumseind in small groups, each accompanied by a member of the city council. Parents will visit three bars and the police station, and will hear presentations on: Drugs, Alcohol and Teenagers, The Proactive Working Method, and Safety on Stratumseind.
