Let's Catch Up

Let's Catch Up

On Thursday 28 September a new monthly English programme for anyone and everyone who is internationally oriented will start up in Maastricht, under the name Let’s Catch Up.

Let’s Catch Up is a joint initiative by Holland Expat Center South, Knowledge Center for International Staff (Maastricht University), Centre Céramique, Theater aan het Vrijthof, Lumière Cinema en Bonnefantenmuseum.
Special guests during this first edition are the Mayor of Maastricht, Mrs Annemarie Penn-te Strake, and Maastricht University ‘s newly appointed HR Director, Mr Antoon Vugts.

Every month since April 2011 the Holland Expat Center South and the Knowledge Centre for International Staff (UM) have organised a monthly Meet&Greet for international knowledge workers who live and/or work in the region. The Meet&Greet has always been held on the last Thursday of the month at Café Zuid, at Plein 1992. Now, 6 years later, input from the international participants has resulted in the launch of a new formula which will take over from the present Meet&Greet.

Let’s Catch Up is the name of this new formula, which from Thursday 28 September onwards will take place every month at a different location. It will combine the Meet&Greet with a look forward to what will be happening in the rich cultural life of the Maastricht region during the coming month, and is open to everyone. Meet internationals and find out more in a varied program in which interviews, presentations and previews are interspersed with musical intermezzi. Esther de Koning will ensure everything runs smoothly during the evening, and at the end there will be plenty of opportunities for drinks and to talk with everyone and exchange ideas and experiences.

The first edition is on Thursday 28 September in Centre Céramique, Plein 1992 Maastricht.
