
In Kaatsheuvel (near Tilburg), you will find one of the most popular parks of the Netherlands: the Efteling. This park is not only meant for the younger ones … The design of the park makes it an enjoyable place for all ages. There is, for instance, a wood where all kinds of fairytales are shown by means of statues and attractions; there are roller coasters, restaurants, playgrounds, and there is even a little train that takes you around the park.

Another very popular park in the Netherlands is Walibi World. It is situated at the ‘Veluwemeer’ (Veluwe Lake), in the middle of the country. This is a park for older kids. It has all kinds of scary new roller coasters; some of them are the highest and/or the fastest in Europe! The younger kids can enjoy themselves in a special area of the park.

Toverland (in English ‘Magicland’) lies in Sevenum. It is a park for the younger children. More than half of all the attractions are inside, which is why the park is open 365 days a year. There are also a couple of roller coasters outside, which are more suitable for the older children. This park is just very suitable for younger children.

Just across the border near Venlo is Movieworld Germany. This is a Warner Bros attraction park showing you all kinds of items from the Warner Bros movies and the attractions based on them. This is a very big park where you can enjoy yourself all day long. They also have some shows in which they show you how movies are made, and some action shows.

Across the Belgian border, you find Bobbejaanland: a perfect family park with attractions for young and old. There are many fun attractions for the little ones as well as some impressive roller coasters and water glides.

DippieDoe Best
DippieDoe is a family park for families with young children. It offers small roller coasters, restaurants, movies, and climbing gear, mainly in an indoor playground setting. Outside are some smaller roller coasters, swings, and climbing frames and nets.
