The Netherlands is a small country, centrally located on the European continent! Thus, it offers excellent opportunities for travelling abroad. From the provinces Noord-Brabant and Limburg, you can travel to Belgium or Germany in half an hour! It may sound weird when someone says that he or she is going to Germany, Belgium, France, or England for just a day, but it is indeed a very short trip and a lot of fun to explore the other cultures that lie just around the corner.
The Netherlands has good transportation possibilities by train or airplane, but Paris, Brussels, Frankfurt, and even London are just 3 hours away from the Southeast Netherlands, so which makes travelling abroad as just as attractive as exploring the Netherlands.
