Once you have arrived in the Netherlands, you might want to start finding some friends that have been through the same hectic time as you and who live in the South Netherlands. From bars favoured by expats to formal expat organisations, the South Netherlands has plenty to offer to those in search of friends from around the world. In addition to the expat clubs and groups, some national expat organisations also provide useful information.


International Women’s Club Eindhoven (IWCE) promotes networking between English-speaking women of all ages, cultures and backgrounds. Meetings take place on the third Thursday of the month in Son & Breugel (just north of Eindhoven). The club also offers many Special Interest Groups that you can join.

North American Women's Club of Eindhoven (NAWC) 
For American, Canadian and Mexican citizens living in the Eindhoven-region. Meets on the first Tuesday of every month, and has various activities to suit working and non-working members, including a Thanksgiving Dinner, Harvest Festival and Fourth of July Barbecue.


The Hub Eindhoven for Expats is where internationals feel @ home! Join meetings, make suggestions, or organize an event!

Eindhoven Expats Meetup  provided a relaxed, social environment for people to enjoy without paying membership fees. For happy hours, camping, hiking, clubbing, art gallery tours, barbecues, ski trips and many other social events around the Eindhoven area. 


Tilburg International Club (TIC) provides social and educational activities for expatriates living in Tilburg and the surrounding area. They also try to represent the international community to local authorities and to further amicable relations among people of different nationalities. Membership is varied in age, nationality, gender, and length of stay in the Netherlands. TIC meets 1-2 times per month offering a variety of activities ranging from an informative meeting about Healthcare in the Netherlands, to a Saturday day trip to a historic city in the neighbourhood and a monthly happy hour in one of Tilburg's many cafes!

International Women's Club Breda (IWCB)
 provides a meeting place for English-speaking women from all over the world.

International Women’s Club South Limburg  is for women in the Maastricht region, and organizes different kinds of activities, such as cooking, walking, and painting. Women are from all over the world and of all ages!


National Expat Networks


ACCESS is a not-for-profit organization supporting the Expat Community in The Netherlands. Whether you are working here on an expatriate assignment, have recently relocated, studying or have made Holland your home, then their free information and range of services, including publications, courses, counseling referrals and community events will help support you.


The Legal Aliens social group organizes events to suit people of all ages and backgrounds in the Randstad region.
