Craft and Art Journeys

A citywide exploration of craft, identity, and shared storytelling in Eindhoven, part of the European Craft Days. Join the free sessions, meet makers, and help create a collective artwork.

Craft & Art Journeys is a citywide exploration of craft, identity, and shared storytelling in Eindhoven, presented as part of the European Craft Days. This collaborative project invites residents, internationals, families, and visitors to experience craft not only as a creative practice, but as a powerful way to connect with others and reflect on the stories that shape our communities.

Across several neighbourhoods, local makers and artists will lead free hands-on sessions where participants can discover traditional and contemporary craft techniques. From simple making processes to collective creative exercises, each activity is designed to be accessible, welcoming, and meaningful, regardless of previous experience. The focus is not on perfection or artistic skill, but on participation, curiosity, and exchange.

By creating together, participants contribute to a growing collective artwork that will be assembled and exhibited after the event, symbolising the diversity of voices, cultures, and perspectives present in the city. Craft becomes a shared language that helps people meet beyond differences, build trust, and experience a sense of belonging.

Taking place from April 7 to 12, Craft & Art Journeys offers a unique opportunity to slow down, engage with local creativity, and take part in a European movement that celebrates craftsmanship, cultural heritage, and community cohesion. Everyone is welcome to join, explore, and become part of this collective journey through making and storytelling

The event takes place from April 7 to 12 in three different locations across the city.

Participation is free, but prior registration is required: Craft and Art Journeys. April 7-12 Eindhoven | The International Entrepreneurs Collective
