HLE Networking Night 2025

On 25 September 2025, HLE Network will host its 7th Annual HLE Networking Night in Eindhoven – celebrating the volunteer-run initiatives that give multilingual children the chance to improve their mother language outside of mainstream education.

This year’s program introduces pioneering topics:

  • Launch of a self-evaluation tool for heritage language programs
  • A roundtable on shared challenges with Dutch heritage language education abroad
  • A brainstorm about a pathway to mainstream teacher certification for HL educators
  • A keynote from Switzerland on how municipalities can support HL programs, including free access to school buildings

 

Who is it for?

Parents with children in heritage language programs, HL teachers and volunteers, mainstream educators, teacher trainers, corporations with social responsibility goals, and policy makers or politicians who want to better understand this education sector.
