Van Abbemuseum renovations
The Van Abbemuseum is undergoing a major transformation in 2026!
The museum is turning 90, and we’re celebrating with a new collection presentation, Collection as Cosmos, as well as a completely renewed Van Abbe café and ticketing area. Renovations are being carried out between 23 March and 5 June 2026.
In the autumn, we will also redesign the outdoor area to create a green space where nature and culture come together.
