Discover Omnia Jeugdzorg: Culturally sensitive family support for international parents

At Omnia Jeugdzorg, we are deeply committed to supporting families from all cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Rooted in the meaning of "Omnia"—which translates to "wish" in Arabic and "everyone" in Latin—we shape our services around the desires and realities of each family, offering support that is inclusive, judgement‑free, and, when needed, available in your own language. Best of all: our help is always free for families in Eindhoven, thanks to local partnerships.

Our Services: Tailored Support for Your Family

Omnia offers a wide range of services designed to meet families wherever they are on their parenting journey:

  • Families & Parenting: From everyday advice to strengthening parent–child communication.
  • Diagnostics: Understanding child behavior within family and school contexts without relying on formal labels.
  • Family Support: In‑home guidance to navigate everyday parenting challenges.
  • Specialized Family Treatment (IAG): Intensive support at home by qualified professionals when behavior or relationships become particularly challenging.
  • WMO Support for Adults 18+: Helping individuals regain self-reliance with practical, respectful assistance.

Highlight: The Positive Parenting (Triple P) Courses

One of Omnia’s standout offerings for international parents is the Positive Parenting course, based on the internationally recognized Triple P (Positive Parenting Program®). Here’s why it’s so valuable:

  • Evidence-based and flexible: With over 30 years of research backing, Triple P offers strategies that adapt to cultural, religious, and personal family values.
  • Practical and empowering: Learn to set achievable goals, apply problem-solving strategies, and reflect on your progress—what Triple P calls a "self‑regulation" process.
  • Holistic and balanced: The five foundational principles are designed to foster a nurturing and stress-managed family environment:
    • Create a safe and stimulating environment for your child.
    • Encourage learning through positive support and active listening.
    • Use consistent, clear discipline and guidelines.
    • Maintain realistic expectations for both children and yourself.
  • Practice self-care as a parent—because your well-being benefits the whole family.
  • Benefits for you and your child: Expect happier, more confident children who are better able to follow instructions, reduced stress at home, and stronger family harmony, alongside increased confidence for you as a parent.
