The ISE operates as one school across two locations, and provides primary and secondary education through three departments: Primary International, Primary Dutch Bilingual, and Secondary International.
The ISE Primary International and Secondary departments offer education to the students of international residents who plan to stay in the Netherlands temporarily, or to a Dutch citizen who is returning from abroad, or planning to move abroad.
The ISE Primary International Department (ages 4-11) follows the core standards of the national Primary Curriculum from the UK and uses project-based learning to ensure the lessons are accessible to all.
The ISE Secondary Department (ages 11-18) offers the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, designed to help students become global citizens and lifelong learners. The IB Programme is globally recognised by universities and governments.
The ISE Dutch Bilingual Department (ages 4-12) follows a thematic curriculum that combines the Dutch Core Goals (Kerndoelen Primair Onderwijs) and a strong English programme and offers education for students of international residents who plan to stay in the Netherlands longer or permanently, or local residents who would like to get an international and bilingual education. 30% of the lessons are taught in English by EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teachers.
The ISE is accredited by the Council of International Schools, ensuring that its programs meet the highest international standards. For more information: www.isecampus.nl
