- Selected information.
Keep in mind that you do not need to include all the available information for your event / announcement. The purpose of sharing your message via Holland Expat Center South is to reach a larger audience, who will then go to your website or social media channel(s) for the full details.
LinkedIn has a higher word limit but we advise using keywords and keeping texts shorter as they are then more likely to be read completely.

- At least 1 link or reference to further information in English in the form of a call to action.
This could be a link to your own website, Instagram post, Facebook page, or LinkedIn post. For example: “For more information”, “Visit our website” or “Register here”. For an event, don’t forget to include details of how to register (if applicable).
If there is no further source of information, we may still be able to share the post. Please contact us.

- Hashtags (social media only).
Add up to 5 relevant hashtags to increase the reach of your post. If you have a profile, you are required to share it.

- The text must be in English (US spelling) and within the word limit.
-
Image / photo- At least 1 image / photo in JPEG or PNG format
Less than 2MB (less than 3MB for LinkedIn)
File should be appropriately named, such as with the name of the event or announcement.

- There can be no text in the image or photo.
This is in order to comply with the European Accessibility Act, which aims to make digital products and services accessible to everyone. We do not accept images with text because the text cannot be read by screen readers. We can, however, accept images containing only the company/organization name if no other image is available.

- Additional specifications for each channel

If you include multiple photos, specify the order they are to appear in.
 LinkedIn: 1200 x 627 pixels (landscape)

Follow the guidelines
We have drawn up these guidelines to ensure that we receive all the information we require to share your message. Please read them carefully as your submission will only be eligible for sharing if it meets all the requirements of the chosen channel.
Limited availability - first-come, first-served
Please note, however, that meeting all the requirements is not a guarantee that we will be able to share your message. We receive a lot of requests to share events and announcements with our network, and we do our best to schedule as many messages as possible, but we have limited availability at certain times.
Tip:
Since we operate on a first-come, first-served basis, we recommend that you submit your message well ahead of the deadline to maximize the chances of sharing!
