The NSO will go on tour for the 74th time in February 2026, performing in the most beautiful concert halls across the Netherlands. Ninety talented students from all over the country put their studies on hold for a month to make music together at the highest level.
This year, the orchestra is sharing the stage with top violinist Noa Wildschut. After an intensive ten-day rehearsal period, the orchestra is performing in various concert halls, with concerts in Berlin and Duisburg as international highlights. Compelling, virtuosic, and full of passion; students letting their love for music speak.
This year, the NSO will perform at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven on 12 February, under the direction of conductor Arjan Tien. The program features Ravel’s grand orchestral masterpiece Daphnis et Chloé, Prokofiev’s Second Violin Concerto, and a newly composed work by the promising young composer Arjan Linker. Written especially for the NSO, this new piece draws richly on Indian musical influences.
