When are you allowed to vote?
You can vote for the municipal council if you satisfy the following three conditions:
- On 18 March 2026, you are aged 18 or over.
- On 2 February 2026, you are registered to an address in the Netherlands, as evidenced by the BRP (basisregistratie personen / personal records database) .
- You have Netherlands nationality. Or the nationality of another Member State of the European Union. Or you have the nationality of a country outside the EU and on 2 February 2026 you have resided in the Netherlands legally for 5 years or more.
If you do not yet have a voting pass and you are registered in the BRP in Eindhoven on 2 February 2026, you can go to the Inwonersplein (Stadhuisplein 1A) and request one.
The deadline for this is 12:00 on Tuesday 17 March.
Practical information:
- You do not need an appointment.
- Regular opening hours apply.
- Don't forget to bring your ID (driving licence, passport, or identity card)
- You receive your voting pass immediately.
