Voting pass for Municipal Elections on Wednesday March 18 2026

If you have not yet received your voting pass, you still have time to request one!

When are you allowed to vote?

You can vote for the municipal council if you satisfy the following three conditions:

  • On 18 March 2026, you are aged 18 or over.
  • On 2 February 2026, you are registered to an address in the Netherlands, as evidenced by the BRP (basisregistratie personen / personal records database) .
  • You have Netherlands nationality. Or the nationality of another Member State of the European Union. Or you have the nationality of a country outside the EU and on 2 February 2026 you have resided in the Netherlands legally for 5 years or more.

 

If you do not yet have a voting pass and you are registered in the BRP in Eindhoven on 2 February 2026, you can go to the Inwonersplein (Stadhuisplein 1A) and request one. 

The deadline for this is 12:00 on Tuesday 17 March.

Practical information:

  • You do not need an appointment.
  • Regular opening hours apply.
  • Don't forget to bring your ID (driving licence, passport, or identity card)
  • You receive your voting pass immediately.
