This year, there are two ways to join us as a volunteer:
- Become part of the organising team in the months leading up to the event
or - Help us during the event itself.
1. Join the operations team
Would you like to be part of the team behind Winter Market Eindhoven and see how a large community event comes together? We are looking for volunteers who can join our operations team starting in September or October and contribute approximately 4 hours per week.
Depending on your interests, skills and experience, you may help with:
- Event preparation and coordination
- Communication with vendors, performers, and participating organizations
- Practical planning and logistics
- Administration and organizational tasks
- Preparing materials and information for the event
- Social media and content creation
- Decoration, signage, and creating the event atmosphere
- Supporting the team with preparations as we get closer to December
As an operations volunteer, you are not simply helping with individual tasks, you become part of the Winter Market Eindhoven team. You will work together with people from different backgrounds, contribute ideas, and help shape the event as it develops. We also organise social activities for the team during the preparation period, so there are opportunities to connect, get to know each other, and enjoy the experience together.
As a thank-you for your contribution, operations volunteers will also receive an appreciation gift bag.
This role is especially suitable for people who would like to gain practical experience in event organization, communication, social media, community projects, cultural events or working within an international team.
2. Volunteer on the day of the event
Would you rather join us for the excitement of the event itself? We are also looking for volunteers for Saturday, 12 December 2026.
Event-day volunteers will work a shift of approximately 3 hours, helping us create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for thousands of visitors.
You may help with:
- Welcoming visitors
- Providing information and helping people find their way
- Supporting activities and visitor experiences
- Assisting vendors, performers and participating organizations
- Helping with practical tasks during the event
- Supporting the event team where needed
You do not need previous event experience. We are looking for friendly, reliable people who enjoy meeting others and being part of a lively event.
Event-day volunteers will receive a lunch package, vouchers to shop at the market, and will have the chance to experience Winter Market Eindhoven from behind the scenes, meet new people and, most importantly, have fun while being part of the team.
Who can join?
Whether you are a student, professional, new to Eindhoven, have lived here for years, or simply want to become more involved in the local community, you are welcome to apply. We especially welcome people who enjoy working in a diverse and international environment.
Winter Market Eindhoven 2026 takes place on Saturday, 12 December 2026 at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven.
