Praat Nederlands Day started in 2025 as an initiative by Leiden International Centre, in collaboration with Gemeente Leiden, to promote the learning of Dutch among international residents of the Leiden region.
This year, Holland Expat Center South and other international welcome centers across the Netherlands are also participating.
-

- Local Dutch residents
- Local communities and organizations

-
Why join in?
For internationals, learning Dutch is about more than grammar - it's about feeling at home, making connections, and becoming part of the local community.
And the best part? Everyone can be involved!
Internationals are challenged to speak Dutch and locals and employers are invited to help them!
